DAILY DOWNTOWN VISITING WITH MAYOR MAX
Visit Mayor Max Every Day in Idyllwild, California.
- Monday through Wednesday – Call Phyllis at 949.525.0100 to arrange the time.
- Thursday and Friday – 4:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday – 2:00 PM
We generally stay as long as there are people visiting.
Exceptions to Our Regular Visiting Schedule:
Friday, October 9, 2026 — The Mayor will not be downtown, but contact us for options!
VISITING LOCATION
Our usual visiting location is from our Mayor-Mobiles in front of Wooley’s, the store with a six-foot-wide cowboy hat over the entrance, easy to see! Wooley’s is right next door to the Idyllwild Gift Shop and near the Candy Cupboard.

On the following holidays, we are in town at 2:00 PM:

On the 4th of July, the Mayor is in the parade that starts at 10 AM. When the parade is concluded (usually around 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM), the Mayor returns downtown for visiting with the public.
